An aerial view of a shipwreck in Tacloban.

The photo above is an aerial view of what typhoon Haiyan or locally known as typhoon Yolanda left. Everything is in ruins; the house, the trees... But which thing is the most visible? Surely it is the ship that was supposed to be on a harbor yet it was where everything else was. This proved how strong the typhoon is. A ship that weighs probably tons was now a wreck among the houses. It was unbelievable how a storm could move such heavy object.

If the storm moved a ship, imagine the other parts of the city. There were a lot worse. Everything was almost down to the ground leaving people homeless not to mention that it was still raining in Tacloban.

They survived the storm thankfully but relief goods haven't been distributed properly and people were left under the rain with no food, water and shelter. Despite the number of goods packed in different areas, people were still hungry. The government should make a move to deliver the food and clothes on time so people were not left fighting for food. The slow operations were making things worse than they already were.

I hope that the government will do something about the way they distribute food, water and clothes and so as not to create chaos. I also pray for the people especially the children, elderly and sick to have faith that altogether we will get through this tragedy.

Thank God for keeping our countrymen safe and I know that faith in You will give us hope that everything will be better. I know that the people who did not survive the storm are now at peace in Your kingdom.
