The Collection's Lasting Colour Lipstick

This is the Lasting Colour Lipstick in Pink Shock. (P199)
The Collection Work the Colour cosmetics is a UK based make up brand. It's one of the cheapest imported product available in the Philippines. In UK, the Collection is considered a drugstore makeup alongside Rimmel (not available here), Maybelline etc.

What I like about Collection is the variety of colors to choose from. Also, it is very cheap and affordable. This lipstick is really long lasting but it's not a matte lipstick. It is creamy but not shiny! I am not a fan of creamy lipsticks but when I tried it, I like it a lot. There are so many colors to choose from that you can get whichever suits you best. My lips are very sensitive when it comes to lipsticks so I was hesitant to try it first because some lipsticks give my lips a burning sensation. But this lipstick, despite the very cheap price, is good for my lips so i recommend it for girls who have sensitive lips as well. It is very pigmented too so it goes a long way! The packaging is very cute too.

The downside is the Collection is only available on selected stores. In Makati, they are available at The Ramp Crossings and The Landmark. It is also available in Robinsons Manila and SM MOA.

Tony Moly Backstage Gel Eyeliner Review

This is what a Tony Moly Backstage Gel Eyeliner in Pearl Black looks like.
Tony Mony Backstage Gel Eyeliner is by far the best gel eyeliner I got. It is not as expensive as the other products like Maybelline or Bobbi Brown. This one costs I think 348 pesos. I didn't buy the one with brush since I have an Artist Brush's eyeliner brush so I didn't see the need for it.

Before, I was using Revlon's color stay eyeliner, it stays for a long time but it easily smudges when you get a little sweaty so it didn't work for me. I have known this product from a Korean friend. She uses this eyeliner but in brown. I asked her what gel eyeliner she was using and she said it was a Tony Moly's. She encouraged me to buy one because according to her 'it is very nice and I love it so much'. It was just now that I was able to buy it. So yeah that was the story so I'm going to start the review.

The packaging is very sleek. It's very small too so if you don't have much room for makeup in your bag this will definitely do. When I said very small, it doesn't mean that it easily run out. It is very practical to use since a little product on the brush is enough to cover an eye, well it depends on how thick you want it. Anyway, I like it because it's very pigmented so you don't have to a lot on your eye that it will feel heavy and all.

This is what it looks like in the inside.

The product is creamy so it doesn't easily dry. The downside is that you have to wait for it to dry before you can open eyes wide but the good side is it is easy to remove if it is not dry yet when you make a mistake applying it. Tony Moly's gel eyeliner can go a long way so your money is not wasted when you buy it. Last thing that I love about this is that I sweat a lot due to humidity and also, I have an oily type of skin so I basically need smudge proof or waterproof products to apply on my face so Tony Moly definitely works for me. It does not smudge when you get a trickle of sweat on it. It also lasts for about 4-5 hours or even the whole day! This is really worth what you paid for!

Pros:
Cheap
Smudge free
Waterproof
Worth the money
Long last

Cons:
Have to wait for it to dry
Hard to find stores that have Tony Moly

ELF Eyebrow Treat and Tame

ELF's Eyebrow Treat and Tame in Medium. P250.
(Own photo)

So hi this is my first makeup review. If you have read my post about Cara Delevingne, you would know how a huge fan of her I am. So yeah, I want brows like Cara and after some research, I read that she uses Anastasia Brow Gel for her bushy brows. Unfortunately, it is not available here so I had to look for other brow gels. And I happened to land on this one, ELF's Eyebrow Treat and Tame.

ELF has two kinds of brow gels. The other one looks like an eye shadow palette that has a gel and an eye shadow. Then this, the Treat and Tame.

For beginners (like me), Treat and Tame is actually a nice brow gel since it is easier to apply. It has two sides, the tame and the treat. The treat which is the clear gel is applied first , followed by the tame which is the brown one. The treat side has a brush that looks like an eye shadow applicator and the tame side has a brush that is like a mascara wand. I really like this product since it does not smudge when you are sweating. It is not a waterproof brow gel but it looks like it is one. I am a sweaty person and I appreciate this kind of brow gel at a low price.

The not so good side of this brow gel is you easily ran out of it. I bought this just more than a month ago and I am not using it on a daily basis but I easily ran out of it. It is at a very low price but I think many are buying this brow gel so there is just a little supply of this on some stores.

Anyway, I am loving this product so much but I will try to buy other brow gels. Some are much more expensive than this one so for a thrifty person, I really prefer this one.

If you like this product or you want to tell me what you think of it, please leave a comment below!

Doug Baldwin Jr. carried Philippine Flag

Seahawks carry Philippine flags to raise fund.

In the picture above is Doug Baldwin Jr., a National Football League player of Seattle Seahawks carrying a Philippine flag. He is not a 100% Filipino but in his heart lies a love for his fellows. His family lives in Tacloban which was the most devastated city in the Philippines.

This was a photo taken before the game and he did this to raise help for the people in Tacloban. They raise $24,000 for the victims who have been hungry, sick and homeless for days.

In his Twitter account, he said, "In the US, we are blessed with comfort other don't have. My family needs your help. Even your prayers will do."

What he did really melts my heart. I think this proves that even when you are a thousand miles away from your family and people who needs your help, distance doesn't matter at all if you really wanted to help. I am proud of Doug because even if he did not grow up here, he still cares for the people affected by the typhoon.

A huge thank you Seahawks and to everyone who sent Philippines help. Be safe everyone.

Binay's face and name.

Explain yourself.
Photo Source: I don't remember. Sorry!
VP Binay, was helping the people in Tacloban for your own interest?

Vice President Jejomar Binay, do you really have to put your face and your name in everything you give to the people in Tacloban? I don't think your name matters at this point because what everyone in Tacloban needs is food to eat not some ass who helps because he has other intentions.

Well people are thankful you sent them food and water but do you know how the netizens felt when they saw your face planted at the back of a truck delivering the goods? We sure are a hundred percent pissed what you did. It looks like you wanted your face and name in every plastic bag so people will feel grateful and owe you something. It is too early to be too political. Even if it was not your intention, people still think that you did these 'generous' acts to capture the hearts of people in Tacloban as an early political tactic for the next election.

There are so many relief goods that are sent everyday not just in Tacloban but to other cities hit by Typhoon Yolanda yet I have not known anyone who put their names on their donations. Not even the other politicians did that. Hell, I don't even see the point of printing names or showing off because the matter in hand is feeding thousands of hungry mouths.

Honestly, I thought that Binay was a person to look up to but I guess he is just someone who is hungry for power as well.

Cara Delevingne

Last November 13 was the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. I was really glad that Cara did the show because I knew she has the smize and stuff.

Cara Delevingne has always been my favorite model. She has that quirky attitude that made others happy. She is so true to everyone around her. With bushy brows and athletic body to for, what's not to love? It did not surprise me that she ate fries, pizza and bacon in preparation for the VS Fashion Show.

It made me really happy that she did the catwalk because she is so hot and her catwalk is really amazing. She is one of the most sought after supermodels on the world after all and not to mention a supermodel of the moment. Despite her busy schedule due to her starting acting career, she managed to slip the fashion show in which made a lot of the model of the moment's fans happy.

And yes I could not wait for it to air and I am pretty that I will watch for who knows how many times. Cara is really a model for me, not just because she is really a model but because she is an epitome of real beauty; inside and out.
An aerial view of a shipwreck in Tacloban.

The photo above is an aerial view of what typhoon Haiyan or locally known as typhoon Yolanda left. Everything is in ruins; the house, the trees... But which thing is the most visible? Surely it is the ship that was supposed to be on a harbor yet it was where everything else was. This proved how strong the typhoon is. A ship that weighs probably tons was now a wreck among the houses. It was unbelievable how a storm could move such heavy object.

If the storm moved a ship, imagine the other parts of the city. There were a lot worse. Everything was almost down to the ground leaving people homeless not to mention that it was still raining in Tacloban.

They survived the storm thankfully but relief goods haven't been distributed properly and people were left under the rain with no food, water and shelter. Despite the number of goods packed in different areas, people were still hungry. The government should make a move to deliver the food and clothes on time so people were not left fighting for food. The slow operations were making things worse than they already were.

I hope that the government will do something about the way they distribute food, water and clothes and so as not to create chaos. I also pray for the people especially the children, elderly and sick to have faith that altogether we will get through this tragedy.

Thank God for keeping our countrymen safe and I know that faith in You will give us hope that everything will be better. I know that the people who did not survive the storm are now at peace in Your kingdom.
